Ryan Brassel brings 14 years of commercial real estate experience to Rosso Commercial Real Estate, with a career shaped by early exposure to the industry and a long-standing passion for brokerage. Growing up in a family immersed in commercial real estate on the Eastern Shore, Ryan developed an early appreciation for the industry and a clear path toward a career in Brokerage.
In 2025, Ryan achieved the SIOR designation, a professional achievement for highly-qualified commercial real estate specialists with a strong and sustained transactional history in brokerage, fee-based services or executive management.
Since entering the industry in 2012, Ryan has completed over $260 million in sales and leasing transactions, representing clients across a wide range of property types, with a focus on retail/restaurant real estate, office, medical, and industrial assets. He specializes in the sales and leasing of commercial real estate throughout the Baltimore–Washington Corridor, advising investors, developers, landlords, and owner-occupiers on both single-asset and portfolio strategies.
Prior to joining Rosso Commercial Real Estate, Ryan served as a Vice President at Murphy Commercial Real Estate, where he spent several years executing leasing and investment sales assignments across retail corridors, mixed-use projects, and investment properties.
Before entering commercial real estate, Ryan began his professional career with E. & J. Gallo Winery, the largest winery in the world, after being selected for the company’s prestigious Sales and Management Development Program. Working across Michigan and Maryland, Ryan was immersed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment focused on market strategy, brand positioning, and long-term relationship building—experience that continues to influence his consultative, results-oriented brokerage approach today.
Ryan is a graduate of Fairfield University, where he earned a degree in Marketing and Management and competed as a Division I Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete.
Highly involved in the local business and nonprofit communities, Ryan currently serves as Treasurer for West Annapolis Business Association, current member of NAIOP, formerly served as President of the Anne Arundel County Commercial & Industrial Association (AACIA: 2019-2024), Cystic Fibrosis Foundation “40 Under 40” honoree, and launched a Pancreatic Cancer Fundraising Walk in Annapolis in partnership with The Lustgarten Foundation raising $300k in the first three years.
